Do you think they might finally pull the trigger

This spat with the US has been raging with the US for quite some time. Mainly since the idiot bush publicallym called North Korea evil and stationed troops south of the border. With Obama now refusing to comment and do deals with them and new blood as their supreme leader he seems intent on flexing his muscles and potentially using force to be heard.

Problem is threatening nuclear war isn't the brightest thing to do. However it worked and the USA sent stealth bombers after North Korea cut the supply of South Korean workers to large shared manufacturing plants on the border.

It seems closer than ever to military retaliation from North Korea. There is a lot of speculation on their capabilities but 1 thing is for sure it would be suscide for them if they started it.

I can't seem them being stupid enough to launch rockets at the US mainland, especially nuclear. But it does seem that reports are suggesting he has ordered his troops into offensive positions.

Cold War 2. Both parties know that nuclear war means (quite likely) the end of the world as we know it.

I doubt even Kim Jong Un is that mental. That said, I expect someone once said 'I doubt Hitler/Stalin/Pinochet/etc is THAT bad.'

I guess we will just have to wait and see. Living in one of the UK's largest 5 cities, I expect I'll be evaporated within the first wave of bombs, so I won't have to live through the fallout. Probably for the best.

The USA has maintained a large Force in South Korea since the Korean War ceasefire was agreed. Im not sure we can blame Bush for that. (In fact if they hadnt done so it is almost certain that North Korea would have invaded long before now.
Any American serviceman who serves there receives a Korean Defence Medal.
I think theres more likelihood of Kim Jon Ung breaking into a Gangnam Style dance than a full on war.

They won't do a fucking thing except run their mouth. Their military tech is horribly outdated and they don't have the resources for a prolonged war. They can't even feed their own people let alone keep supplies flowing to an invasion force.

Apparently if they are going to do it, it needs to be soon because most of their peasant army has to be planting in the fields between beginning of April and the end of May. Now that China has aligned itself more with the West I would imagine any war with North Korea would be very one sided. A shame his people dont know that though!

So now North Korea are aiming missiles which cant reach America, at America. All a bit silly really.they have also been posting photographs of military exercises involving beach landings with dozens of craft which have been shown to have been added in photoshop!

But in all seriousness NK is a fucking joke. The whole country feels like a cross between a seriously fucked up cult and Stalin's wet dream. Their Soviet knock-off army uniforms went out of style sometime in 1945 and their officer corps looks like it belongs in a nursing home. Their supreme leader lil Kim Double Chin-un needs to shoot his barber and invest in a gym membership. While most North Koreans are malnourished, this bastard looks like he has Pizza Hut on speed dial. His wife (or chick forced to be his wife) runs around with Dior handbags that are worth about twice what a average Korean makes in a year. Communism for the people but full blown capitalism for us. Yeah stay classy Kim!!

Oh and let's not forget the concentration camps he has in the northern section of the country. He and his Oompa Loompa generals can deny their existance all they want but satellite photos don't lie. My educated view. No one in authority in NK can fart without the US intelligence agencies knowing about it. satellites, communications intercepts you name it. Any twitchy fingers on missile triggers and a whole world of shit will come raining down on Kim Yong whathisface and his military cronies. Their military capability is quite Frankly laughable and their ability to hit targets like Hawaii and Guam probably massively overstated. This is NK rhetoric which will lead to nothing other than continued isolation and more misery and abject poverty for the majority of North Korean people.

Just my personal view. I can also hazard a guess what is lurking off NK waters.......
