climate control. If I turn on heated seats both sides must be on. Both thigh holder bits on the seats need to be one click forward (As that's how I like mine). If someone changes it I immediately change it back.

Vents I'm not too bad. As long as the two center ones match I don't mind the two far ones being different.

since the install was finished: my volume control is in the ashtray under the trim. I change the volume constantly but can't stand seeing the remote thing mounted in there so am constantly opening and closing the ashtray lid. going to wear the thing out.

I'm about half way up the scale I guess though. Some of you guys take it much further!

passenger seat has to be level with mine, cant stand it being forward, can see it out the corner of my eye.
also, when parked I always make sure that that steering wheel is centred and the wheels are pointing straight forward.

things that also really irritate me include a passenger turning the stereo up or down (its not their stereo!) and passengers grabbing the seat belt rather than waiting for it to be delivered by the butler (just wait!)

Oh yes! Let the butler serve sir as he wishes.

Most of my passengers though aren't aware of the butler and get confused when there's a noise or even shocked.

To be honest it's the most impressive feature of the car to the vast majority of passengers! Forget the 350bhp, amazing torque, nice looks, the stereo setup I've got, the lovely 313m alloys or anything else. That damn butler is just amazing!

yeah fair point that many dont know its there, but the number of people/friends who have got in the car time and time again, and still reach for it really winds me up. do they not remember?
someone even managed to get the belt trapped whilst the butler was retracting, and as the spring expanded and finally snapped inside they casually acknowledged "your seat belts trapped in the door mate"
NO its not!!!!!!! YOU PLUM!

see, it still irritates me now ha ha ha

If someone damaged my butler they'd fucking well pay to have him serviced!

Too right. Although the passenger seat does have to be level with mine. But that's it.

Other than the fact I'll kill you if you leave the car with the sun visor down. You Bastard!!!

I also count things like number of footsteps from the house to the car (28) and make sure that I always take the same number. It's not OCD though as I don't think anything awful will happen if I'm a footstep short.

Badges on wheels - that's a bit much I must say!

Body parts fair enough, you have to have a good system or you won't be able to fit as many in ...

That is certainly OCD, I'm pretty sure that thinking something bad will happen isn't critical in the diagnosis!

We've probably all got it though, I certainly get hung up on stuff. At the weekend I noticed my boot liner was dirty as we were parking up at the shops. I wanted to clean it out but the wife said we didn't have time.. I had to walk away but it killed me - I so wanted to clean it there and then!

Driving positions.....does anyone set what is, at the time, a perfect driving position then next time you get in the car start fiddling because something doesn't 'feel' right?? (when in reality, everything is just fine and no different to the previous day!!!)

It takes me about a week to get truly comfortable in any car, making (almost continual) adjustments to the driving position, after which it's then cast in stone. Hence I either have to have electric, memory seats or no one (and I mean NO ONE) adjusts the seat.

Only adjustment I ever make is, on track, wind the seat marginally closer to the wheel, as I can never get the wheel close enough to me.

You can in an SLS

I know what you mean about steering wheels being close - I often have to have them right out (and as you know, I'm not exactly what you'd class as tall!). The SLS is one of the few cars where I can have it about 3/4 of the way out

I'm the same as you...but then I have this tendency to refine it....it's fucking millimetre differences that you probably can't even see! Someone....get me a doctor.

It drives me nuts if the steering wheel is slightly off centre

If someone gets in my car when the windows are misted up & then rubs their greasy hands all over the glass to clear it
