Help pls ! New 335d vs Used 335d

Hi all,

I have just got myself into wee dilemma

So am after your opinions pls.....

Have got a deposit down on a 07 plate 335d black M sport with black leather and a few toys...

Grey Poplar wood trim
Heated Seats
High Beam Assist
PDC Front & Rear
DAB Radio
USB Audio
Prof Nav
Btooth / telematics
Prof Hi Fi upgrade
Sun Protection Glass
Sunroof
Auto Dimming & folding ext mirrors.
CD Changer

Its got about 7k on the clock.

However, its not from my normal dealer. So when I bumped into the usual dealier this weekend, they have just come up with :-

A new 57 plated 335d M Sport

Techno Violet (must be Individual i think) - I had this on a E36 M3 back in the 90's - do you guys think it would look okay on the E92 ???

Cream Beige Leather.
All of the above toys, plus 19's but minus Sunroof and hi fi upgrade.

They have managed to do it for the same price I was going to pay for the used car in terms of the deposit and monthly payment (but for 2 yrs opposed to 3) but the ballon at the end of the term (2 yrs) is about 5k higher on the new car.

So guess my questions are
1) (I know its individual preference but....) Would Techno Violet work IYO?
2) Is it worth going for a used car - ie not so much depreciation to suffer ?

BTW it would look awesome i feel, hope we are talking about an E92?

if i could do a rerun id by second hand and save myself 5 grand..... to spend on hookers

no seriously techno violet looks amazing but not to everyones taste.

tell the dealer if they do the exact same deal you'll buy, if not fuck off.... i guarantee they will better their offer.

Go for new, you don't know how the used car has been driven, if it's an ex demo it would have been caned. Also, I think you will want 19"s on the M sport, so new it is! Agree that sunroof not worth having.

I'd also agree with everyone else, sunroof isn't worth the reduction in torsional rigidity.

its not only that, they do look gay..

they really do... nothing worse than seeing a good looking expensive coupe or saloon car with a bloody sunroof

leave that for the fiestas and corsas
