Summer gathering

guys - I am looking to have my summer gathering or annual gathering.

Where should I hold it? At my house or in a restaurant?
give me your input and I will provide the place/food/&good times with lot of car talk.

do it someplace other than your place. way too much planning and preparation, so leave that to someone else. your neighbors would probably agree

Any parks that have BBQ grilles in the Herndon/Chantilly/Cville area?

Talking

Raja,
Another possible place with good parking room and a large reception hall are fire stations in the local area. We have a number of them up here in the Balt. area and I would assume down in the NOVA area there might be a few as well. Brings the stations extra income at reasonable prices.

Just a thought!

Not sure if I'll make it as I'll be in Asia (tw and china) for a couple of month startin in June.
like Hyper said, grillin at a park is a good idea. i do that with friends quite a bit during summer time .. here is a good spot: free grillin area, big enough for large parties, and big parkin areas. just gotta get there early to get a good spot. if the party happens sometime this month, I'm def. down for it.

there was a ncc bbq like 2 years back that had pretty good parking somewhere near great falls. I think the picnic area was rented out maybe paul knows? I know frankoq was partly responsible for coordination. Anywhere is fine tho. Hopefully I can make it this time.
