do you also notice something different in the lower part of the rear bumper (considering the e90 in far right is not facelifted)??

Went to my BMW dealer this weekend and he confirmed LED's for the taillights ...

Did he know this directly from BMW or was he just regurgitating some rumour he'd read on the Internet? Dealers usually know much less than us...

my bet is that it will come with LEDs, since they did it with the 5 Series, they will prolly do it here.... i kinda liked mustache that the current one has. Also i doubt that the ugly indicators wont be on since it already has one on the fender, having another one on the mirror would be way too many indicators. Maybe they will include LED blinkers in the headlights?

The e90 already have the same lights that the facelifted E60 got.
The horisontal light bars are just the same.
Not sure everyone here means those when they say LED, think most mean the kind Audi uses on their A6, and as were used on the former 3-series cabrio.

yea those lights like the A6 are on the new 2008 5 series for turn signals and stuff so......those should be in the new e90....

if you look at this ebay auction you can see that the 2008 5 series has LED taillamps, so i presume the e90 is gonna get something similar.

I think the sample quality has decreased extreme - look at the big screws on the hud!! Its must be the new look for the US marked from the newly build factory in Guatemala....

Its kinda annoying that BMW already have the LED technology from before, but still insist on making the first versions of the E9x's with normal lights!

All so when they release their facelifts, they can say, oooh neuer rear lights! Arent we clever!?
Kinda sucks for us who've already got a E9x or just ordered one!

well...IF they do get rid of the mustache...its going to suck for new owners-- they can't buy any replacement front bumper kits...only lips. This is because most kits are make for the older front grilles that account for the mustache portion that sits on the hood. If the hood has grooves for a new grille without the mustache....it may not look right. I dunno...I guess you have to wait and see how it actually looks, and whether you can get away with them being off. Maybe only BMW will make new Mtech kit for this if indeed its different.

Cuz, I know most vendors are pretty much done making any new *kits* for E90. Most developlements are for E92/E93 and anything that is M3 applicable.

I believe they wont be full LED but will have an more intense 3 bars across the middle line like the new one coupe.

PLEASE BMW stop dicking around you know what to do, you already have whats needs in the front and rear of the coupe.

I think the shark fins are a different size (maybe a euro thing) and I've noticed there is no crease below the tail light lens on the new car (on the rear bumper). Are my eyes playing tricks on me???

You've been reading too many old car magazines. the E60 design has been very well accepted after 4 yrs, and the sales numbers show. The 2008 refreshing did not change the exterior design much - BMW does not mess with what works (unlike the change to the 7 series tail).

Just make the e90 and e91 look like the e92 and people (myself included) would be happy.

The shark-fin is a "non-variable" part and for the 3-series its always the same. There is no exception for US or Europe..
Regarding the other thing you are talking about: I want your brilliant eyes.. i cant see anything different.
