Question: JB4 335i Maintenance
Hello. My car just hit 18k miles. JB4 was put on the car yesterday. Now I am wondering what my specific maintence plan needs to be tuned. Car is a 2008
-Oil was last changed at 16k -Injectors and HPFP were changed at 6k -Coils/Plugs are original. -Valve cheaning has never been done (When should I do it) -Anything else? What should I do next at XXX miles?? Thanks for your help. Nick |

The only thing you could consider doing is changing the oil more frequently. Instead of the 15k miles BMW does, do 7,500 instead. If you're still under warranty, don't re-set the oil change interval so you can get the next one taken care of by the dealer.

Do an extra oil change in the middle of what bmw requires.
Change plugs every 25k miles or whenever you get misfires. Beaides that, service it whenever something goes wrong. |

It's great. You can feel a power increase, but many members tend to overexaggerate the power I think |

Lol 18k miles is a baby
Oil every 6months (depends how much you drive). Spark plugs every 20-25k miles. Coils maybe every second time if you feel it's necessary. Valve cleaning every 40-50k miles. Or get an OCC and make it every 50-60k. Water pump/thermostat every 80k miles. (if it lasts that long) For longetivity: FMIC / oil cooler to help the turbos last longer with all the tune pushing And most of all, take care of her. If you get any codes immediately review/log and prevent any issues. |

i wish i had 18k miles lmao. i have like triple that. do you have any warranty or maintenance plan left?
if you have the money, i would def get spark plugs. JIC. i wouldnt worry to much about valve cleaning until around 35-40k miles. |

curious on this too. I wanted my valves clean the dealer told they can't on the 335i since the intake has to be removed. I call BS on the dealer. Are other dealers doing this?
