High pitch noise coming from rear at ~50mph

Hey guys,

I recently brought my car in because I was experiencing a high pitch noise coming from the rear (almost like someone rubbing their finger on the rim of a crystal glass), the service dept is trying to tell me its because I have RFT. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any fix? I recently had them replace the rear pads and brake pad sensors.

Thanks

Are you sure it's not the tires? I can't tell you how many times I "swore" an issue couldn't be tires and turned out that it was...

I'm not sure if it's the tires. You'd think that the sound would be consistent whether I was giving it gas or coasting. Now I only hear this issue when I am coasting and it only happens within a 10mph range. I'm really thrown off. I'm going to bring it back in tomorrow and ask them to look into the diff. Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

Update:

The issue has been resolved. They had to replace the differential as there was an issue with the final drive.
