Maintenance Question

Hello everyone.... i had my car for about 1 year +1 month and was wondering if i should take it for service. Do you guys recommend getting an oil change after 1 year and any maintenance on the car?

BMW stated that you need your oil changed every 15K miles. You are entitled to one free oil change a year, at ANY given mile interval. Yes I suggest you get your oil changed. Personally, I change the oil in my car every 5k miles. It costs me less than $70 to do it myself and gives me peace of mind. Mind you before BMW got into the free maintenance business, the recommended oil change was between 3-5k miles.

yes, get your oil changed and while you're at it, winshield wipers too...and anything else that bothers you.

some ppl change their own oil every 7500 miles, with every other one cover under the maintenance program.

I'm coming up to a year also, with far less than 15k miles on the odo. Did the oil change at 9k miles.

Does anybody know if they do anthing else, besides oil change, at the yearly service?

Brake Fluid causes a warning light at 2 years. It's annoying, and the BavTec scanner can clear it an adjust the condition based service intervals for brakes and other things.
