Am I fine running spacers up front?

I have a e90 LCI with Alufelgen SF-71's. I bought them used so don't know the specs for sure but I think they're the usual fitment for our cars. Front tires are Hankook Ventus V12 235/35/19. My fronts are set way too far in so I measured and ordered spacers already but now i'm a bit concerned... Don't want to rub or crack any fenders... I measured from the tire to the outside of the fender and got .75" so I ordered a 12.5 mm spacer. Am I going to be fine running this or am I going to rub and have issues? I am lowered on KW V1's with about a 1 finger gap up front. Thanks for your help

Edit: Fronts are 19x8.5 ET35

I don't really have the answer to your question, but someone probably will if you can figure out the wheel widths and offsets.

Your wheels come in several width and offset combinations. Square, staggered, 8, 8.5, 9 inch widths... 15, 20, 35, 45, 48 offsets.

.75 inches is about 19 mm, so i would think you'd still have some clearance with a 12.5 mm spacer, but you have to worry about where that will put things when the suspension compresses on bumps and of course on turns since you're talking about the front. Pretty popular wheel around here though, so if you can figure out which fitment you have, I'm sure someone will be able to chime in with more concrete advice.

Check the inside of your front and rear wheels for stampings that indicate the fitment.

BTW, how are the KW V1s treating you in terms of ride quality on the NE roads? I have an e90 xdrive as well and haven't touched the suspension yet... Boston roads are awful.

Thanks for the help i'll do that when I get home on monday. The V1's are great and exactly what I needed. Obviously I do my best to avoid post holes and whatnot but when I do run over bumps they handle them well. Everyone i've taken for a ride is shocked at how comfortable it is and can't believe the car is on coils. The xi suspension is also terrible imo and the V1's improved that drastically. It takes turns much better and also feels much more stable at all speeds. Highway speeds above 80 were most noticeable with the car feeling more planted now.

Cool, thanks. My friend has KWs on his xdrive and says the same, but he lives in the burbs and I live in the city, so I'm still a little apprehensive about it.

That said, the stock xdrive suspension is pretty bad like you said. Doesn't handle the way you would hope for this car and crashes pretty hard over bumps and potholes. You would think it would at least be one or the other, compliant but floaty or planted but harsh. GL with your question.

Yea i would highly recommend them. Hopefully someone who has my setup can tell me if spacers will be fine or not

12.5 spacers might be pushing it since it doesn't seem like you have a stretch on your tires, you might be rubbing a little on turns or bumps but im pretty sure you'll be able to run them. I think 10mm spacers for the front would have been about the biggest id slap on if i didnt want them to rub, but now that you have ordered them try them and if they dont work exchange them.

Garage List
10 mm spacer max. Probably a 5 or 8 would have been better to ensure no rubbing.
