Don't you hate it how.....
Don't you hate it how when you press the AC button for it to go on the windshield it automatically goes to full. It's so annoying. I always have to manually put it down a few bars.
Don't you hate it how there is no volume gauge? Every other car I've ever used had a volume bar that went up and down whenever you changed the volume. What are some things that annoy you with your BMW? |

Don't you hate it how there's now slower wiper setting? The first level is quite fast. Most cars have a much slower setting as their first level. Yes, I have automatic wipers, but I'd still prefer a slower setting.
FYI I drive a 2008 328i. |

Something that I see on many other cars as well: If you shut off accessory power while the windshield wipers are in mid-swing, the wipers will just stop in the middle of windshield and stay there. I don't understand why they couldn't make the wipers to complete the last swing and stop in their resting locations. I wonder if there's some rationale behind this behavior. My previous car (a Honda) did exactly the same thing.

Whenever I turn off my car I usually:
1) press stop 2) take off seatbelt and open door together 3) remove fob So I get bombarded with dings and dongs telling me don't forget the fob! And my angel bulb is out so it needs to ding about that, and on top of that when I'm low on gas it likes to ding and dong more and interupt previous dings... Too many reminders lol passengers look at me like the car is gonna blow up |

as far as the defroster for the windshield, all cars come on full blast when you turn it on. the point is to get rid of the fog as fast as possible, but you can tone it down if you want to leave it on. makes sense to me. i thought i was the only one that couldn't figure out there's no intermittent wiper setting...that's the only thing i find retarded with this car. also, there's a lot of stuff that could be coded but should be standard: window stops rolling up when you open the door, folding mirrors with your remote, rolling windows up with your remote, etc. |

also, i never understood why they made the key fob and a separate button to start the car. you should be able to start the car by just pushing in the fob, instead of doing 2 step work.
and when you turn the car off, i have it coded so i can just hold onto the button for 2 seconds and it will automatically release the keyfob instead of having to push it in to turn the car off. that should be standard also.. |

Not at all actually. I rather appreciate it when I have extreme fogging on my windshield impeding my visibility during driving and I need immediate defogging. It kind of makes sense- almost intuitive.
Isn't that what separates a BMW from, say, a Honda? |

Although I agree, "intuitive" and "making sense" does indeed separate Honda from BMW. With positive side of that medal having a nice big H on it. |
