Hi all
Just recently acquired my first BMW. Tis a day before my birthday but I'd love to come by and meet some fellow BMW owners. Not sure if I need to do an introduction thread since there are a helluva lot of things I'd love to learn about this car but meeting some like-minded owners first up would be great. So put me down as a 'maybe'. =) |

Would be great to meet you guys in person, will be able to make it however 9.45pm arrival due to prior engagement. Vtl (Melbourne) recently helped me out with some remote coding - iDrive warning, seat belt warning, TV in motion & Alpina Trans flash If you are needing some remote coding and to save mailing USB drives from Sydney to Melbourne then back to Sydney, I will bring a laptop and the files for anyone who brings a portable hard drive or USB drive. The files include BMW Standard Tools and Oracle Virtual Box so it can be run on nearly any laptop Mac or PC. To copy the files your drive will need 50GB of free space, so a $8 - 4GB thumb drive just ain't gunna cut it. For remote coding you will also need:
Send me a PM if you are keen to get a copy of files on the night.
