So are these specifically only for the e90's that come equipped with xenon or can they replace the holgen bulbs? I have a hologen set and want xenon.

These are in size H11 for the e90 foglights btw.

Do you need xenons for your headlights? If so, what size are they?

Honestly i don't know. I have the e90 with non xenon, so your basic halogen.
