FEELER: BILSTIEN PSS9 with VORSHLAG CAMBER PLATES

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD>>>>

staying with my Eibach/Koni yellow setup and selling my coilover setup. The shocks are in great condition. I picked everything up from other forum members and bought new hardware as well as stock bmw parts from ticher to make this kit complete. the camber plates are already installed and everything is ready to be mounted. comes with new spring perches for the vorshlag camber plates as well as rubber BMW spring seats for front and rear. all the rear upper bmw shock mounts are new. also bought new thrust sheets from Bilstien and replaced them. looking for 1100.00 + shipping for the setup.

Reason for selling is I'm not interested in lowering the car more then it is, I only want to corner balance the car, but to be honest I daily drive the car and would probably not notice much of a difference doing so. I will be installing my M3 suspension pieces this weekend so I was going to do it all in one go but the more I think about it the more I feel like staying with the Eibach setup.

Setup is for e90 or e92 335i

Parts history.

SO neither you nor the seller before you had them installed on the car it was only the previous previous owner for 22K miles?

lol. Yes that is correct. I traced the shocks back to 4 owner total including myself. 2 in Florida and the local guy I bought them from. I did some research on them if it helps, here what I know. The last guy who I bought it from did not have them very long (as in 2 days tops). he got a deal for some pss10 from long at LTBMW. he saw my WTB post and pm'd me as well as I PM'd him. he was local and I picked them up from LTBMW. they were still in the shipping box he got them in. The other guy from florida got them and shelved them for a bit then sold them. The shock had grim and dirt from normal use. I cleaned them up and bought new thrust sheets cleaned all the threads and put them together with new BMW rubber spring seat and hardware. there is nothing wrong with them they are in really good condition. I will take pics for you guys. I will install them if no one buys them. I just honestly don't need them I bought them because I have a disease. I buy everything I can for my car then figure out what actually works for me then sell what I don't want to keep. Hope this helps. feel free to ask me any questions. also the Vorshlag Camber plates were previously owned by Harold at HPA.

I am also selling the HPA adjustable endlinks to go with it. I will do 1100 for teh Bilstein and camber plates and 130 for the endlinks.

Do the damping adjusters work well, meaning they have 8 distinctive clicks in both directions? My PSS9s were all screwy with dome sometimes clicking, other times not and just turning freely, or just not clicking the correct amount of times. I couldn't take it any more and got BMW Perf.

I otherwise like the setup and would consider yours if it works properly.

They are. at the highest recommended setting from the Bilstein manual it sits to low, but there is still thread to get them higher. I would have adjusted them but I was already happy with the eibachs with koni yellow setup for my style of driving so I opted to stay with what I know I like already and sell these to use the money for other pats.
