The bugs are out!

Damn, bugs have been every where in the air/streets of socal!
They've been plastering the front end of my car like Tiger Wood's trophy room. All kinds, from little gnats, to big moths. I even see HUGE humming bird sized bugs darting across my front end, though I've yet to hit anything that big.

I went out for a 3 minute drive, and came back with at least 20 bugs on my front bumper, 4 on my hood, and another 5 or 6 on my windshield. I just detailed it last night. However, lucky for me, when bugs first hit your car, they're still soft and gooey, so whipping them off with some QD is no problem.

Anyway, I'm sure the rest of you have noticed this

Dude...Check you side mirrors too....i usually kill plenty bugs with my side view mirrors....

there's been a lot of bugs out in norcal too. i washed my car on friday night and after the weekend, it looks like i went on a road trip.

one of those little flying bugs made it into my house and I guess laid eggs in one of my house plants. Every time I walk by that damn plant now, I see a cloud of those bastards take off.

im guessing it's the heat... I was on the golf course, and there were huge amounts of bees nearby.. the noise from their wings was noticeably loud.. its ridiculous and scary. Plus, all the gnats that always find a way into your mouth as you are talking while driving your cart... nasty.

I was in the LA area all weekend. When I was headed up Friday I took the 71 and was met with an assload of bugs. WTF. By the time I got to Hacienda Heights my windshield looked like a crime scene.

Hey, guys, feel free to come out to Florida in May and September for lovebug season. Nothing like an aerial insect orgy in the middle of the interstate.

You won't have 20 on your car, you'll have hundreds! And they etch the paint like a mofo!

Yup. I've spent a lot of time there. I pack a bottle of OFF spray because I know how bad it is. You'll hit some bugs that look like your car got hit with a red paintball pellet.
