Carsponsors? Is this a scam?

http://www.carsponsors.com/registration/index.php

Fella's,

Wasn't sure where to post this but has anyone had any experiance with this outfit? They claim that if you quality, you will get $5,000 worth of products of your choice. All one has to do is apply, then send them by email the product you are wanting to install and the merchants name/address. They then will negotiate on your behalf and all you have to do is a 90 second video of the product installed and post it on sites.

Might be cheaper than paying for advertising but getting $5,000 worth of products for free and just do a 90 second video sound a bit hokie.

Thoughts?

here is your answer, I not sure why people before they get into something with a web company why they do not do a simple search on the companies background

It appears they have been around since 2005, and the fact they are still around proves there are suckers born every minute.

From the sounds of it, if you attend car shows and do lots of work on your car, this may work for you. But if you not into go to car shows all the time and competions this could get costly and not really the deal they make it out to be. They may get a hand full of people who do the entire show thing and get their car notice and they get all the free stuff which is paid for by the people paying $99 and not getting a full sponsor ship and having to pay some portion of cost of the parts.

Actually I already saw those links when I did a search for reviews. I'm just asking if anyone on this forum has had direct experiance, good or bad.
