Damn it!! Got a problem :/
Might be able to get some help with ideas here...
I have a 320d, and the rear as most of you will know is pretty boring. (How the car use to look in it's more OEM state) Thought I'd liven it up a little by ordering a twin tip off Cyba since I've always hated the standard tip. Real happy with this, the quality and the way it looks. Seeing as he only offers the single layer exhaust for one side, and I wasn't to keen on getting a single layer tip, I decided I'd be a genius and order the polished silver double layered tip (as seen in the above pic). Only problem was, these are only sold in quads (set of two). So I thought I'd order the quads and use one side on mine, and give tho there to my brother for his 520d. I knew they were staggered, but didn't realise they were gonna be slit.. Obviously he won't be able to fit the other to his as it will be staggered the wrong way with the longer end on the outside instead of the other way round. I couldn't really be bothered with the hassle of returning them, as I still want to fit one to mine, but now I'll be stuck with another tip that's useless. Don't think anyone else could make use of it since it's the wrong side, unless someone with a right sided single exit exhaust wants it. Or I could try get a 335 m sport diffuser instead of mine and convert it to quads, but being a 320 I don't know how I feel about that :/

Well there are a few companies people have used on here who midify the spillter to suit the exhaust installtion, so its not a no go..
Its just not straight forward as first thought.. Depends if you actually want a quad exit? |

you should have just went to an exhaust shop and got them to fit one of their tips.... infact, i would sell these on as a pair for a 335, and do exactly that.
you will probably get a tip fitted, for the price of those tips... (how much actually are those Cyba tips?) |

Could be an option

Was about £85 posted for the two, & as I was sharing with my brother it was only costing me just over £40 so thought it wasn't too bad since I have a friend that will fit it for me as well. Quote:
What's going on here? Lol
