  • Enjoys the control of a manual transmission but has given up on them for multiple reasons
  • Prefers an ICE with crazy power but also cares about the environment
  • Likes modern tech but sometimes thinks it goes too far - gesture control
We’ll done, sir! That is exactly how I would describe myself.

I am #6. I'm a driving enthusiast. I respect and admire the better analog feel of older models, but respect and still lust after newer models with effortless performance and the latest tech. In the end, I drive whatever cars I own, no matter how expensive or special...averaging 35,000 miles per year collectively across my fleet. I'd much rather gather with other driving enthusiasts and hit some back roads or take a quick trip than to stand around looking at cars at regular C&Cs or other meets. I firmly believe that cars look better in motion. And I like a good manual transmission, but I don't need one to enjoy a well-designed car on great roads.

So, if you're a driving enthusiast, you're #6, like me.

Like most people can’t say I fully fit into any of those. Closest would be 2 as I do like a manual transmission for my fun car, however I am not tech averse at all.

Mainly I like cars, period. While I may have preferences I like to try different things. I’ve had turbo 4 cylinders, V8s, trucks, SUVs, convertibles, EVs etc. I just like cars.

I think you missed one.

The enthusiast that buys what they like because they think it's cool, and or unique and there's not many around nor cares what others think of it. Also hates driving what everyone else does.

I'm with you there. I like driving what nobody else does. M cars (in blue) and Porsche sports cars in loud colors are right up my alley.
