conditioning or protecting brand new leather seats?

hey guys, I have new leather race seats ready to be picked up tomorrow. If weather permits they will be in my position and in my car no later than thursday...cant wait!!

my question is, are there any products that are better for new leather that just needs a heavy conditioning/protecting? or perhaps I should clean them too to see if there is any residual dye left over?

I've always used Lexol on my seats and its worked well, but i'm not in love with the smell. How does leather masters or leatherique smell?

the seats in question

Lexol will work fine Matt but it does smells like butt. Pinnacle and Zaino both have great leather conditioners.

Zaino conditioner in a regular basis. My seats are better than new after almost a year and 7500 of daily driving city use.

+1. Z-9 for cleaning and Z-10 for conditioning. Works like a charm

I use PB as well, but what's different for me is my leather actually smells like new after I'm done. My wife even came out and said "your leather smells like when you first bought the car" ( I have a sept 06 build....Terra)

I will also agree with you that it's one of the better products I use as well. I like it waaaay more then Lexol. It applies and removes much easier...imo.
