Installed Vishnu DIC today. pics
Installed my vishnu DCI's today. Wanted to slap pictures up to show how the fitment of the cones are and how they lay. Im confident that i got the couplers as deep in as i could before tightening. They seem to lay how the other DCI's lay in other pics. I have yet to drive the car to hear the sucking sound i anticipate they will make as my old car did.... I plan on a helix FMIC this week to really help the car breathe through the summer.

What's up dude, how's the tune? You'll hear the turbo's a lot more w/ the DCI's. And damn your engine bay is clean haha...

Is this setup that much better than stock, i have been looking at a lot of different setup for intake setups and this seems like a good idea, but what about the heat coming off the engine? do you have vent scoops and taking "cool" air from your snorkel?

for $150? absolutely. if youre boosting anywhere above 10 psi you really should have an increased form of airflow so the turbos arent working so hard to suck the air through the stock restrictive airbox. YES i DO believe it is restrictive IF you are tuned. if you are NOT, it is not needed. Robert from vishnu and i had a detailed phone convo about the topic. As far as the heat, it is what it is, this is still improvement over the stock airbox. and yes i am getting RPI intake scoops soon, just deciding if i want the red ones or not still.. i believe they will look good and not tacky.. as well as an intercooler very soon to help keep things chilly.
