early day at the track :(

well i was going to try my luck at the track in hopes to break 11 sec mark since i just got it walnut blasted.

first run down the track car went into limp mode (NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS)

parked it and checked codes and came up with a P2EFF which says cooling fan on the Cobb. i finally get home and i hear a loud knocking sound when the fan wants to come on ( sounded like the bottom end was toast)

still no engine lights other than the one code....dont know if i should drive it at this point. i drove it like that about 60km home from the track and oil temps held steady at 187 f.

any opinions on what i should do? car has no power even after clearing code (it just comes back)

will replacing the cooling fan fix the issue?

thanks

just pop the hood and spin the fan by hand to see if the blades are hitting something. If it spins freely then the knocking noise is coming from somewhere else.
