Pics after car wash!

So I went to Burlington today to wash my car at a car wash that Budd's BMW owns (It is the longest automatic car wash in the area) and I get free car washes there because I bought my cars at their dealership.

And I wanted to see how the Plasti Dip will hold if it went to the wash, and it made it though like a champ!

I am going to toofastmotors this week and get myself some plasti dip. Guess I have to do black for my winters since they don't offer gun metal colour.

Looks good Farley, hopefully they have gloss black for next winter. It would look even better in gloss black. Or anyone who wanted that look can buy two cans of clear gloss from ebay.

I just got two more cans of white to do some patch up work on two of the rims. I touched one before it was dry.

Not sure if I should do it today, considering its raining, and this should not be done during humid weather.

Who ever is your salesperson is lying, I took delivery of my car on my birthday in Oct this year and I go the card last week.

If I was you I would call him up and demand it or speak to his Sales Manager.

I thought he was sold out of white?

He said the Canadian dept (I can't remember the name) should have it cleared for sale in Canada in a couple of months so it should be good.

I got the two cans from the Home Depot in Mississauga they recommended.

Though I used them today to try and cover some blemishes, it ended up with bubbles everywhere, maybe too much of it, maybe it was too humid since it was raining, not sure, but when I sprayed it on it was all smooth, but when i checked it at night, it dried with bubbles everywhere..boo.

Ahh well, it is what it is. Will mount them on Weds.

Remember they are just winter rims, not your dress rims that you get women with!
