Recommend Best dealership in LA

Just moved down from Northern California to LA and had a great dealership that I went to up north (Eastbay BMW). Would like to find out what the most reputable dealership is down in LA, especially in regards to ease of providing warranty fixes/loaner cars/rationale thinking SA's, etc.

I'm on the west side so anything closer to there would be preferable, but I'd be willing to drive anywhere within reason if it's worth it.

Thanks in advance.

After moving out to the West Side (and living just down the street) I used Santa Monica BMW for the first time a few months back for service, and to get a few other issues checked out. They were really quick considering the amount of stuff I needed to get done, and very friendly as well. There's usually quite the line of cars waiting to get in their service dept., but it moves fast and there is a ton of garage space. I've read plenty of negative stuff on Yelp about that location, but most people on the West Side are stuck up douches anyways.

Give them a shot if you are anywhere close!

Thanks for the responses guys, appreciate it.

I'll have to check out the few mentioned here in this thread. I'll update with whichever one I start to use and let everyone know how it goes.

I just started hearing faint turbo siren last week (only a few thousand miles after JB4 put on, 1 turbo was replaced around 30k miles due to wastegate issues). I've got no rattle and still under CPO warranty, so might take it in. Just want a nice, no nonsense dealership that can take care of this work quickly, provide good loaner, etc.

Santa Monica bmw might be the best bet considering their location is 5-10 mins from me.

I just bought my brand new car from Santa Monica BMW. ordered from the factory. waited 9 weeks. throughout the whole process they were very good. Sales manager Hans great guy. Service quite reliable, I hit that button in my car by accident to request a service appointment, called me back at 8:30am the next morning.

Bought my car at Santa Monica BMW and never had any problem with staff / service. Also, serviced at Rusnak BMW and found them to be reasonable.

I had a bad experience at Santa Monica BMW for servicing. I had an alarm installed but I didn't noticed it had water spots all over the car until the next day. I picked up the car at night so I didn't see it right away. Anyway, I took the car back and they refused to do anything about it. Never went back there again.

ABSMB - Anything but Santa Monica BMW! There is a reason they have AWFUL ratings on any review website. I live close by but will still drive to South Bay BMW to get all my service done. They always have loaners for me and are hassle free - service is top notch too. No problems with CPO or BMW extended warranties either.

Every bad review on Yelp about SM BMW are people who go in for service on their car that is out of warranty.

How happy do you think people are going to be shelling out $$$ to spend on their out of warranty BMW, no matter how good the service is?

For IN WARRANTY cars Santa Monica BMW is absolutely fine. Their service area is super super clean, and efficient.

Bimmerpost should be segregated to people who bought their car used 4 or 5 years old because it's all they could afford.

And people who bought their cars new/gently used.

The second I read or see "Pre-LCI" or "07" I immediately move on to the next thread...

Yes I'm sure that every bad review is from out of warranty owners. Did you take the time to read some of the comments? Yes cost/price has an element to the dissatisfaction, but the majority of issues are just due bad customer service and just straight up being rude to people.

I also base this on my own experience both as a buyer with the sales dept and also the dismal service of my IN WARRANTY car.

Wow this thread didn't go shit immediately. And in response to you about my "West Side Douches" comment, I really don't think 95% of BMW owners know wtf E90post is, they are all clueless consumers with no concept of maintaining a car or treating it properly. Those are the idiots that write terrible reviews on websites because it makes them feel better when they don't get their way due to something that is most likely their own fault or misunderstanding, similar to 13 year old punks talking shit in youtube comments.

The difference between good experiences and bad at Santa Monica BMW does not have anything to do with in or out of warranty. Its all about whether or not you purchased the car there. If you buy the car from them they seem to be good about it. If you bought the car from another dealer I promise its worth the trek to South Bay or Century West.
