DONT BUY from DUKE DYNAMICS / BIMMERKIT.COM !!!!

Hey Guys

long story. i buy the CF Performance Style E92 diffusor from Duke Dynamics / bimmerkit.com last December.
cause my car was stored for winter 100miles away i test fit the diffuser in March when spring is coming.

So here starts the problems....

The fitment of the diffusor is HORRIBLE!!! there was no chance to fit it! Badest fitment i ever seen!

here the pics:

so i contact bimmerkit.com and send them the pic. they said i must remove the whole bumper (!!!! wtf!??!) to install it... so ok, i remove the hole bumper with my friend, which is a car-painter.
but same result, it doesnt fit! no chance!

so i contact bimmerkit.com again. then they said i should send them back (to Taiwan) an they will check the fitment. if it really doesnt fit, they will give me the money back.
i send the diffusor back at june 7th 2011 (have the tracking no.)

after two weeks i ask them if the diffusor arrives. they said yes and they will check it in the next few weeks....

after a month still no answer! so i contact them another time. the answer: they need to oranize a E92 with M-Tech rear and that's not easy....

ok so i wait...... another month! still no answer! same game as above, i contact, they answer the same shit....

and now, after 5 month of waiting (!!!!!) they dont answer my emails!!! nice!!! send them about 10 emails now and no answer!

so the have my money AND the diffusor! this guys absolutly cheating me!!!

also guys, be warned! DONT BUY FROM THIS GUYS!!!! THEY'R SCAMMERS!!!

and the product which they sell are all made in Taiwan! cheapes quality, badest fitment!!!

IDK if it's true, but I heard it's better if you order from DD directly?

nothing wrong with the diffuser, you probably didn't installed correctly.
You need to push the taps all the way in; in order to secured the diffuser on the bumper.

As you can see here, member 335 oClock doesn't have any issues with his diffuser.

It's very obvious OP's diffuser doesn't fit...

I'm not sure about the coupes, but on my sedan, the install instructions for the OEM performance diffuser clearly states that the bumper needs to be cut on both ends. Not sure if this applies to the DD diffuser or not, but the OEMs definitely require cutting. Did the install myself to confirm this.

All of their stuff is a hit or miss on fitment as all their stuff is made from fiberglass. I was lucky when I bought my diffuser from another member. It fit like 95%, unless you look really carefully a person wont notice the slightly off fitment...

I'm assuming you cut the bumper in the correct area like the oem one requires you to do?

Stories like these are the main reason why I have the hassle-free protection on my credit card against scammers like these. It happened to me once, I contacted my CC agency about the situation. I provided them a tracking# to prove that the item was delivered back to the seller, and my CC agency credited the money back to my account and delt with the scammers! Sorry about your situation OP! Hope you get your money back.

updates!!!

Don't order from bimmerkit.com/DukesDynamics. I Ordered a diffuser from bimmerkit.com I waited for two weeks and did not hear from them so I called the company and talke to a guy named Sean.He told me that he made the wrong type of weve so he had to remake the diffuser. After that he then told me that it will not fit on my M3 so I asked for a refund. He then informed me that he did not have enough money in his paypal account and that I should wait a week for my refund.I use my CC why do I have to use his paypal account for my refund? Now it has been 2 weeks and I have not heard from him.. Even though I called him.. HE IS AVOIDING MY PHONE CALLS AND EMAIL.. Stay away!!!

This is a stupid thread. I have had 2 pieces that fit 100% right. People just get frustrated they can't put it on themselves. Take it to a shop and pay 50 bucks to install it, seriously. I talk to them all the time on AIM...

a month ago, I got the power vented hood from Duke Dynamics & Sean was helping me with the sale.

Fitment is 98% OEM-like. I'm very happy fitment.
You could check my sig for the pictures.
