shops in bay area to install dps
Have a n54 335i and need some dp installed. Anyone recommend a good shop with a good price? Preferably south bay area. Thanks!

these guys are a BMW specific shop and do great work with excellent prices... just got my quaife LSD installed there...

Sonic quoted me 400 also stated that I had to sign a waiver saying that unless they are AR brand downpipes they wont guarantee their work and they also charge an extra 100 bucks... marking the total 300+ you dont have AR 100= 400.
Just wanted to see if there were other options. They have had great praises so if I cant find another place then I will go with them for sure. |

I guess they guarantee the AR downpipes fitment and all and because other DPs may not fit they charge extra I guess. Thats what Calvin told me when I called there the other day. I may just go with them due to their reputation alone as being top tier installers.

The cheapest you will probably find is $200 or so. $400 is a bit high IMO but Sonic is good. That said, no offense, DP install is not rocket science. It is a PITA especially if you do not have a lift. But, as long as they're tightened down, do not touch each other, O2 sensors aren't damaged and everything else is bolted back in place (read: steering rack), you will be fine.
