Debadging rids me of traffic light racers!
Hello!
I wouldn't call this a huge problem, but before debadging my car I had a lot of people wanting to race. Most more-than-average cars, with 16 valves, vtec or similar always wanted to have a go. Now, after the debadge, people doesn't seem to notice the car, or at least not the above mentioned category. Other more competitive cars seem to have drivers that know how to distinguish a 335 from others so they still want to go. So for me and perhaps someone else suffering from pointless race invites, debadging is great! I also like the cleaner sleeper look. |

Any debadging tips? I was actually planning on trying to take them off this weekend.

alpha- i took my badges off with fishing line then used Goo Gone (clear bottle, yellow liquid, black label...@ your local supermarket) to remove adhesive. apply a little wax after...worked for me on 4 of my cars.

Well, it worked for me, so that's why I thought I'd post it. As for the adhesive remains, I could just grab it and peel it of. For DIY here's some info: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=debadge |

Heat it up a bit with a hair dryer helps a lot.

I did my Mercedes with wax dental floss and goo gone. I also used a hair blow dryer to heat up the badges glue a little first. After that, piece of cake!
