Ordered my 330xi for ED!
Last night I put a deposit down on a 330xi doing Euro Delivery. I'm stoked! Basically got them to do the deal for 1k over ED invoice, and under 400 in junk fees. Might have been able to do better on the fees, but then I don't think they would have wanted to detail the car and throw in floormats and such at delivery. I'm happy with the deal.
I got: 330xi mystic blue, grey, aluminum trim. Premium, Cold, Nav, Comfort access, Park distance control, sat prep. 2 year/12k mile lease, no money down. MF at buy rate, 7 MSD's, my payment is like 437/month including 6% tax. Woo hoo!!! |

Nah, no sport package. I'm quite broad shouldered, and found the lumbar seats a bit too confining. I might have tolerated it for the suspension, but I guess AWD doesn't get that anyway, so wasn't worth it to me.

Mike,
The sports package option on the xi is GREAT! You get the hugging seats, the cool thicker small steering wheel and a good looking set of wheels (158s) without the performance suspension and tires (which I didn't want) for only $900 ($820 dealer invoice).

Yeah, its just the seats that get me. I don't know, on my test ride, I just found them squeezing my sides too much, and a bit hot and uncomfortable. Maybe they bolsters would loosen up a bit as the car aged, but if they stayed like that I don't think I woudl like it.
I did really like the steering wheel, and the front of the seat that extended though. That was nice. |
