This is awesome. I had a Cobb Tuned Subaru Legacy GT Auto and Legacy spec.B 6MT before getting the 335xi. I cannot wait until this is out for the 07 ECU and xi. By the way, (I have no affiliation) anyone in No. VA Mach V is an awesome, very professional, and knowledgeable tuning shop with and AWD dyno. I took my Subarus there. They just sold their Mini shop car and got a 335i. Their facebook page says they have the BMW accessports in stock. They specialized in Subaru and Mimi but seem to be moving hard into BMW. I have seen a lot of posts of BMW's on the dyno plus the new shop car.

Well if Cobb need private testers in the EU, just let us know.... I for one have less patience than a wasp on EPO.....
Features like speed delimiter, DP fix etc. are also important. I have the BMS fixes, but would love to be able to code, change map and analyse/modify from the OBD connector. Well, anyway, my Quiafe LSD is being installed Tuesday, so at least I'll have that to look forward to while waiting anxiously..... |

This may have been asked before -- does 'USDM' cover Canadian models, or are our cars totally different up here?

Also a former Subaru guy ('04 WRX & '06 STI) that converted to a 335xi 6MT, and is patiently waiting for the release of the AP for the '07 xi.

does this tune have any automatic compensation procede-style regarding bad gas, elevation / other variables or even additional mods like downpipes or intercoolers or does that have to be written in with a stage 1.5 / stage 2 kind of thing?
does it require an external power source while flashing? i have friends in the Z car / subie communities running cobb and i like the product; might even win me over soon but i'm very curious |

I have a question!
1. Is this flash detectable by the dealers when you take it in for service?!?! 2. What happens if you have the Cobb flash installed, then when you're driving your HPFP fails or your injectors fail, you get a check engine light or HALF-ENGINE light... When the dealers scan your car for codes, will they see that someone tampered with the DME ?? If so, can we un-flash the car while we are waiting for the tow truck? Will the DME allow an un-flash with a check-engine light? |
