He met us at the track since he was already in Sacramento. But by that time, Sean had already tech'd the car had started running. He was doing well so Sikh decided to let him go for it. Plus Sean only weighs 165lb and Sikh is a heavy drinker

Judging by your screen name, you're genetically predisposed towards proper punjabi boozing. Am i correct?

Congratulations! You must feel like a rockstar.

In summary the thread did not need your clarification as the title was clear enough from the onset, hence my post. But I'm sure you think otherwise.
did you just spell "S"ingle "T"urbo with capital letters?

We ran the beta maps on Sikh's 6at car earlier this week at the dragstrip and it did very well despite conditions. I'm in the process of testing that same set up on a few local cars with different levels of modification. It will be released when it is ready and fully tested. But before that, I'll release an "basic" e85 version of the current maps. It won't be as "extreme" but it will at least pick up some good power for those who run a 50/50 mix.

Absolutely since we will be advancing timing with e85. Especially at high RPM where e85 demands it.

Why don't you bring your E90 out and give Shiv a run if the car hasn't done something special?

I'd pay good money to see a little e-thug get embarrassed after running their mouth too much.

i'd enjoy that. seriously though, all that really matters is 60-130. 1/4 mile times are mostly worthless in my opinion. 60-130 tells us a lot more about a car. 1/4 is all about track prep and driver skill and an infinite amount of other variables to argue

It took countless runs and man hours for the RB set up to finally hit the low 11's. Yet it took two runs with the single turbo set up. You are loosing sight of that.

The suspension work that Vishnu has done to their shop car was way past due. They were not even running a coil over set up. Case and point my car has all of their upgrades and more in its suspension well in advance of me knowing about the single turbo. For most of us who get this set up we upgraded to a nice DA damper and all the other bits long ago. Its a needed item on these cars.

I think its rather premature to say the kit has done nothing or is not worth it. At the end of the day he has been working on the kit for a very short period of time and adding 100whp will change the way you drive the car at the track. What holds true for a upgraded twin may not hold true for a single upgrade when launching or dragging.
As for your pricing estimate I would hold that comment until pricing is released until then it's speculative.

It is funny to me that people who don't want the single have to attack Shiv for doing exactly what many of us have demanded for years. So many of us wanted a single turbo for this car, now we bash the tuner that is doing it? Keep in mind he is beating the living crap out of his car with launch after launch after launch, so we can see what the car is capable of. He didn't post a 3 year teaser threat only to have a failed attempt at a single, he didn't dangle the idea in front of our face with countless "live video" session, etc. Instead Shiv/FFTEC have built the car and shown us what it is capable of. I am lost how we attack the very guy who is making our single dream a reality. If you don't want a single, then don't buy one. Simple.
