Question Flashlight and first-aid kit

I picked up my new car today and it was missing the new non rechargable flashlight and first-aid kit. The first-aid kit was kind of expected as it seems to be a hit and miss in North America, but the missing flashlight was a surprise given that it's a BMW. My CA is "looking into it" for me but I really don't believe it doesn't come with one.

So who here with a 2008 E9x got either the flashlight or first-aid kit?

Btw, strangely, the car did come with a bottle of synthetic motor oil in a nylon BMW pouch stuck on with velcro to the side of the trunk compartment.

Cool Nothing strange

Typical N54B30 engines burn oil during the break-in period, very normal. Top it off with that synthetic oil and enjoy the ride.

Correct. Actually all e90 engines burn oil during the break in period.
I had to top mine up countless of times.

First aid kits don't come with E9Xs in NA. For '08 the rechargeable flashlight has been dropped in favour of a AAA powered LED flashlight.

I'm just about 10 minutes from the dealer so I'll let them do the topping up.

I'm definitely missing the LED flashlight though.

In the past, I've had the rechargeable flashlight gone walking while the car was in for service (at a different dealer).

At my dealer, I normally have to wait. Or I just buy a few bottles from Canadian tire and top it up myself.

I was also told that topping up oil during the break-in period is quite normal.
Dealer said to bring it by and they'd top it up while I wait.
No oil or first aid kit, but I did get a mini-toolkit in the front and flashlight in the glovebox.

You might wanna buy a small little first-aid kit to put in the trunk. Pick one up from Walmart and get yourself a small bottle of oil just in case your no where near the dealership.

The BMW recommended oil is Castrol Syntec 5W40, available at Canadian Tire in 1L and 4L sizes.

First aid kit is nice to have but it is not required in Ontario unless it is a commercial vehicle, in that case you'll need a fire extinguisher too.
