To confirm, your front fenders are not rolled? When I took the straight edge up the front wheel I have about a half inch clearance between the straight edge and fender edge. again my wheels seems to stick out farther than my tire, so if I was measuring off the widest part of the tire I might be able to get just over a half inch. 10mm is nearly a 1/2" which would be tight. I don't know... Last edited by cssnms; 10-10-2011 at 07:38 PM.. |

I drive a Pre-LCI with 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +22. 225 and 255. No rubbing on stock sport suspension. I guarantee I wouldn't even rub with coilovers though either, which I plan to get soon, cause coilovers are stiffer than ZSP, and it will only lower my maybe another half inch in the back to be flush.
I plan on installing 12mm or 15mm spacers up front to get it flush. It would effectively be +23 or +20 then, and I've read lots of posts of Pre-LCI E90 sedans running that aggressive up front without issues. For my summer setup, I'm going to re-install my Miro MO2 wheels which are 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +33 with 235 and 265, but I'm gonna space out the fronts and rears 12mm or 15mm. It should work with very minimal rubbing on my Pre-LCI. I wouldn't worry too much about rubbing though, cause you can always roll the fenders if it rubs. |

I have a similar situation also. Im waiting to get my avant garde 310s back from the powder coater, and awaiting delivery of tires. The wheels are m3 fitment so the rear is aggressive at 19x9.5 +22. But the fronts I believe are 19x8.5 +35. I got 225/35/19 tires for the fronts and 265/30/19 for the rear. My concern is the rear will be pretty flush because of the +22 offset. But the fronts wont match. Im assuming Ill need spacers for the fronts. Im sure the 225 tire also warrants getting spacers. Is there a recommended spacer size I need for this front wheel setup? Car is lowered on KW V1 coilovers and front fenders are not rolled. Rears are rolled but spacers are not needed for the rear. Can you recommend a spacer size for the fronts?

I thought there was more room in the rear of a pre lci e90. Do you think Ill be ok running the 9.5 rear with +22 using a 265/30/19 tire? I just had my fenders rolled so hopefully they will fit.

Ya there is more room in the pre Lci. However, I'm not sure if you can or not but I wouldn't be surprised since I have seen guys here running that type of offset with rolled fenders and some rear camber.
You'll have to try it out. |
