New wheels fitted

I found out i had a crack in my rear mv3 wheels last Saturday when having a new tyre fitted so instead of sourcing a replacement I went down the route of new wheels as I needed them before the following Saturday as I was driving to Manchester. Gave Chris at ******** a phone call on Monday And he reassured me they would be with me so i ordered a set of the M359 Competiton 1M Style Wheels with tyres which then arrived Friday morning so fitted quickly Saturday morning.

Yeah went for 19's as didn't see many options for 18's.

Yeah you could say that, any excuse to change something ay

As for planned mods, next big thing will be to have the DPF removed and mapped but plan on changing the chrome grills to black and want a lip spoiler for the rear, maybe lower it a little on springs but unsure on this yet. Changed the rear number plate bulbs for led ones as I had a Bulb out so thought why not.

Originally bought it and planned to keep it standard but it never seems to happen

Same here, when owning my e46 Csl's seemed common on forums and was never over keen on them but there is something a little different on these and they are great and the concaved rear is quite large

ah nice one mate,

i have had my DPF removed and mapped and the car sounds better and performs awesome right now i love it! defo the best thing i did (but i didnt really have a choice as i had issues with my DPF)

lowering on springs just make sure you check/research the ones before you go for them as i got eibach springs for my car didnt really make a difference on the coupe but i saw them on a E90 and they dropped it nicely

my cars the same colour as yours i went for the gloss black grills over the matt ones to match the trim!!

They look great..

I've got gloss black BMW Performance grills. They look great.

A great mod, seen as though you have xenons is LED sidelight bulbs. Make the rings bright white.

Oh yeah that's another mod I plan on doing
Another thing I also would like a performance rear defuser (i think that's what it's called anyway)

Maybe my list is longer than i thought.

Looks awesome mate they are seriously nice wheels. Great excuse for a new set of rims! I've just put some csl reps on my black e90 and was also toying with the idea of lowering a bit just can't make up my mind!

Daz would be very interested in an honest report on the effect on ride quality from upsizing to 19s. I'm asking because I currently have 18" MV3s on my E92, and I'm thinking about CSL reps but was intending to go for 18s because of the likely detrimental effect on ride with 19s...

I drove just over 600 miles at the weekend with them on and to be really honest I did not notice any difference in ride comfort what so ever, if anything I found it better but this could be due to changing from runflat tyres on the 18's to non runflats on the 19's.

I would have stuck with 18's but IMHO I don't think the Csl's suit 18's but that is only my opinion.

Where abouts in the south east you from?

Can you get 225M reps? I'd be tempted if possible, with a bit of luck a decent rep won't crack like the BMW ones!

I'm not to sure bud best bet would be to give Chris at ******** a message or phone call and ask him, he's a top bloke and VERY helpful, he has a special offers thread in the classified section

Thanks for the info Dazza. I'm a couple of counties west of Kent. And I was thinking about these 18s...
