Question Suspension differences between sport and non-sport packages?

Hi,

What are the differences in suspension between the sport and non-sport package cars (for 335i) ?

Is the only difference the shocks?

I need to know this information badly because a repair was done and originally the dealer used a non-sport shock (which of course didn't match with my 3 other sport shocks). But I realized recently that there may have been other components that they screwed up...

Thanks very much!

non sport sits about .6" higher than the ports package. the difference in springs, shocks, and sways or struts I am pretty sure. The big difference i the springs and shocks though. They are stiffer.

I dont know why they would repair it like that? was this the dealer? sounds a bit fishy to me...

Yup, it was the dealer, but there is a lot of ineptitude at the dealers sometimes.

Thanks!

The shocks and the springs are different. The sports springs are stiffer.
Putting in a stock shock on one side would throw off the handling.
