I got my G35 done at Driven Dynamics at the request of my e90 driving buddy who wanted a guinea pig to go first. 35% all around and it looks awesome! Gilbert does a great job!
I spoke with one of the owners about the dot matrix issue on e92s and he said that they do vinyl it. Best to call them and check when you are ready for tinting just to be sure. |

Just got Pinnacle 35% from LA Tint (in Sterling). Very happy with how they took car of the dot matrix in the rear window (they put a Vinyl Strip):

^ me too. I picked up my new car a few days ago and was planning on waiting for a couple weeks to get the tint done. But after I nearly burned my as* this past weekend after going to Target, I think I'm going to have to get it done ASAP.

I have gotten all my cars tinted at Quality Tire in Woodbridge and so far they are the only people that I trust the moment.

I got mine done at TNT yesterday - looks great. This isn't the best angle to see the tint - but I'll get more tonight. And sorry for the cell phone pic.
Madico 35% all around. Here are a few more (with better angles to see the tint): Last edited by lucas.kent; 06-27-2010 at 10:05 PM.. Reason: added pics |

And you're correct - VA is 50% in the front, but I'm taking the chance on getting busted. I think it was either $210 or $220. I also paid for my girlfriend's at the same time, so that's why I'm not sure of the price exactly. |

Any more updates on Driven Dynamics and using the vinyl strip for the dot matrix? I am scheduled to get my e92 done there on Friday, but now a little hesitant.
Thanks. |

I saw an e92 that was recently tinted from there and I was not impressed at all. The line where the tint met the vinyl was crooked and it just overall looked like a sloppy job. I would stay away from that place if you want to get the dot matrix vinyld.

Interesting. When I inquired yesterday, they indicated that they are now using software to create an exact cut for the vinyl piece, whereas they used to do it by hand. Most of the comments I have seen about them have been positive, so I'm gonna give it a try. Here's to hoping they don't mess it up...fingers crossed. Thanks for the feedback.

Driven Dynamics
Just had my E92 done at Driven Dynamics in Rockville today. They were very professional. They also cut the vinyl using the computer. After the tint completely dries I’ll report back as to the quality of the job. They guarantee the work and I get the feeling that they want to do a high quality job so if there are any issues they will make it right.
I’m a little bitter in that I the first tint job I had was total shite AND the jackass who did it put foot long scratches on both rear quarter panels. I made them pay to have them repainted by BMW. Talk about a PITA! BTW this was at Solar Eclipse in Woodbridge. |
