Not bent out of shape. Just trying to figure out how the west coast guys you in particular are hitting these times. Cars are machines....there's no voo doo manic involved. For you to trap 115 in a bone stock car means you picked up over 100 whp over stock on 91 octane piss with only a tune which is impossible on this car. The 133 trap on only a .28 shot means the car is easily over 550 to the rear wheels which is also impossible. So there has to be a logical explanation for the performance or the truth isn't told.

Th trap speed Btwn the coasts vary so much its not even funny. Just trying to understand why.
Atco is 33 feet above sea level with the Shitty conditions Da was 1500ish....not horrible and not good either.

Chesterfan just ran at etown which is also under 100 feet above sea level and he managed a 109 trap on pump gas.

The east coast tri state guys need to run all out 18 plus psi on race gas to match these bone stock 91 octane traps from the west coast. That's a huge difference. I would understand if I was trading slow compared to others but thats not the case. Out of the last 2 years where multi n54s met up at the same track I have been out trapped by 1 guy and trats lost marine with his rb upgrades. So its not my car...its all the cars here.

Sea level national level drag strips and yet we get out trapped by the west coast by 5-6mph in all out efforts.

after doing to much to support your results hotrod, why not take the 2 hours and $100 and get the car dynoed?

Since hotrod is able to achieve results with his car that nobody else can obtain, I never understood why he didn't throw a Procede on his car to really compare it to the JB3 during the Tuner Wars. Wouldn't that have helped the community a lot more than just posting about what his factory freak can do with a JB3?

Hotrod has even stated in this thread that he does not know why nobody else can match his times. That's fine. But I wonder how many people that PM'd him for advice purchased the JB3/4 because they thought that they can replicate his times. I think some logs and times of both tunes would have helped the community tremendously last year.

I always felt that hotrod was a BurgerBoy instead of a true enthusiast that is trying to help the n54 community.

Arent some of those excessive trap speeds on the west coast also cars that are light weighted. Anyone can boast they aren't on the internet. How do we know. Some tracks have scales.

That sacremento raceway advantage is 4.7-5.7 mph compared to my track. My vbox regularly reads 2-3 mph faster than my slip.

I think I'm gonna start adding 5 mph to my runs and put it in my sig.

Woohoo - just trapped 123.9 in 80 degree weather!!!

I don't have any other hidden mods.
I don't know how much HP my car makes, but whatever you said it takes to run through physics calculations, be my guest.
The car really ran that fast, I posted way more proof than 99% of anyone out there.
There is no reason to conceal any mod you can think of that would make sense. I have documented step by step what I have done. It would still be the same record breaking runs either way.
I myself can't understand why the sedan traps 7mph lower on the same jet. And yes, it feels that much slower too when trapping these slower speeds.

Will I try the JB3 again to see if that makes a difference? Maybe, but I feel safer with the JB4 logging features.

And maybe its the new DME software? Well nothing much I can do about that now.
Don't change it... enjoy it !!!

Not anymore!
The traps are still wrong though.
I was able to run an 11.88 at 113 MPH lol!
Sac tried to fix the traps and went overboard!!

I was able to trap 118.6 on a daily driving map back when they were over inflated.

Why doesn't someone just go out with Hotrod next time he hits the drag strip, look around his car, verify that it is as he says it is, and then report back here?

Drag racing has a lot to do with skill too... what I don't understand is the amazing results with a 60 foot that even I can achieve

Some north east coasters are trapping very well.

He no longer has the coupe he set the records with. He had to lease return it. He is attempting to match his times with a sedan.

Yeah but as far as I can understand, people are having trouble believing his Sedan results too

I think he is out there with Mr 5, and he has all the vid, slips and such.. I believe him. I have no idea why he would mislead... he would be crucified with this crew in a minute.

Where do you live? I just moved into the tristate area from Houston. Now I trap considerably less than at HRP (one of the fastest tracks in the country) but I've trapped similar to you w/o meth here in Pitt.

I trapped higher than this run and still ran a horrible 13 flat.

This was a run from last year, my car at the time had AMS FMIC, AR DPs, BMW Perf Exhaust, street tires, JB3 map7, and on 94 octane pump gas (no meth).

This was executed at a Cayuga raceway that that has been vbox tested by Dzenno as extremely accurate. I think the DAs were quite favorable as we had some good spring Canadian weather.

I still think Clap's trap is pretty darn good knowing the kind of boost he is pushing on the Stage 1 tune with probably less then a perfect DA.
