Please help!!
So my car's stuttering when going WOT on higher gear 4th and up......right around 4500 rpm.......
I was able to get a SES light, but when I read the code on the Procede reader, it read: 1023.000 ?? Anyone know if this is a misfire or injector related? I should have some new plugs by tomorrow...... TIA

my car did something very similar when the valves were gunked up pretty bad. Once cleaned the car ran like a champ. My car had 45k on it though.
It was above 4500 and was a weird hesitation feeling, almost like you were being pulled back and it had a slight shake. No CEL... They finally figured it out after replacing everything. |

I've never seen the procede give a code with like that. I've only seen the 5 digit ones. When my car had similar behavior, my fuel pump was on the way out.
EDIT: Can you do a run with the car and log fuel pressure, CAN Actual Ignition, Throttle, CAN DBW Throttle, AFR, boost, and RPM post it up. Maybe that would give a better idea about what is going on. Last edited by jdbretz; 04-29-2011 at 10:49 AM.. |

Normally if the SES blinks twice it was an over-boost. Overboost is common on the latest DIC maps. Change your overboost from the default 10 value to maybe 30 and see if it happens again. Shoot an email to Visnu otherwise.

If the code was 10230.00 instead of 1023.000 then that's 27F6 which apparently is "Pedal Travel" or "Pedal Value Sensor" so I guess it could explain the stuttering if the car can't read the pedal position?

But everytime I update the user sw interface, I always drag and drop those two files for datalogging in the procede folder......is that what you're referring to?

Mind showing me how to properly setup the parameter to read the codes correctly?
