1/8 times with piggyback
So after watching the heat whoop the celtics I thought I'd take a drive 20 min away to the local 1/8 track with the gf. I know 1/8 times are gay but all I could do yesterday My car has been running pretty decent after I brought it in to the dealer for VANOS issues even though they only changed the oil but seemed to help. So I attached my first run which wasn't my best of the night, but sucks since their 60 ft and 1.8 mph was down at the time. My best 60 was a 1.94 (I'm auto and torque braked to 3K each time) and best mph was 85ish (this was heat soaked). So my best 1/8 time was 8.392 which I don't think is bad since all I had on is a JB+ at 100% with the solenoid bypass, I do have DCI but didn't have time to put it on. Temp was around 80 degrees with no wind and I did hit limp mode again on my last run (2nd picture, prob dreaded VANOS again). So using the 1/8 ---> 1/4 mile conversion it would put me around 12.99 to 13.09 which I know isn't entirely accurate but a good guesstimate. I do have a couple vids of me beating a full bolt-on s2000 (ran 9.4) and modded Pontiac G8 (one with V8) if anyone would like to see those.

Nice runs!!
If yoi dont mind me asking how do you go about bringing your car to the dealer with a jb+ at 100 % do you have a bt cable because it throws codes at that level. |
