Question for meth junkies, what's the advantage of procede ?

I'm currently debating on getting a tune and a meth kit, since most of you running 0 ic when running meth, is running jb4 with meth is the same thing as running procede with meth on 0 ic ?

I dont know much about the procede progressive meth. But the JB4 progressive meth is very nice, it should be even better when the new coolingmist controller is available.

No comparison. This should explain everything: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=PWM+meth

Hey Shiv, wanted to ask you last time but forgot, I know some guys that run aquamyst kits, they 1st let it work of a boost and then of an idc, and they like it that way better. Is that how your kit will work ?

Yes, it is based off of fuel consumption. But with a "VE table" compensator used to provide extra meth flow to the more knock prone RPM/load combinations. What aquamist guys are really enjoying is the low reaction time and consistent atomization provided by what is a proper fuel system (constant pressure, solenoid metered, etc,.)

So will it noticeably affect the performance over the basic progressive kits ? or it will be just a more of a high end smoother kit ?

Aquamist (HSF-3) runs off of IDC and there is zero delay. And btw Gbree, Procede was running progressive map switching long before JB.

The JB4 progressive meth setup works great. Here is a recent dyno test on pump gas, stock turbos, and factory midcats/exhaust! Running denatured alcohol you can buy at any Home Depot.

Its very flexible and can be configured to work with almost any meth kits out there. Including the Aquamist kits if you prefer "constant pressure" setups. In that configuration the AM kit feeds the JB4 the flow volume and the JB4 outputs a 0-5v signal back to the controller to control the injection amount. The injection functions are hard coded within the JB4 currently but if there is enough demand that can be fully user adjustable. Just keep in mind these "constant pressure" implementations don't offer any tangible benefit over traditional setups. Especially if implemented to only turn the pump on when boost goes over 5psi. The reality is many run basic on/off switches (non-progressive) with great results as well. A basic progressive strategy of 25% @ 8psi 100% @ 12psi is well proven.

Down low around 19psi. Up top tapered to around 15psi IIRC. With the JB4 you can set the boost curve up however you'd like.

Is this just a tune and meth? Or did you have dps and intercooler?

The above dyno was with 3" downpipes, intercooler, DCI, JB4, single M8 nozzle, denatured alcohol, and 93 octane. With more octane it would have made a little more power. With more boost BMS has made 450rw on the stock turbos.
