Meh, buy $100 worth of castrol edge 5w30 and a genuine filter for $15-20 (or a mann labelled item) and DIY?
With the change you can buy yourself a socket set, oil filter removal tool, car jack & jack stand and be tooled for a lifetime of DIY servicing. |

Diy, pretty much what the guy above me said. For a realer that's on the good side, but can be easily done for half urself , also I got some bad experience with dealers, my cousins Lexus rx350 they didn't change the oil when they said they did, filter wasn't even changed. Same story with a friends Toyota. Inno BMW are different...but still, an oil change is the easiest thing to do, and the most crucial, might as well do it ur self

Good price (as far as paying a workshop to do it) considering a basic service for me at a indy shop down in WA cost over $300.

Thats a good price
To all you DIY guys, i hope you spill oil all over the driveway, yourself and piss off the misses. then after your $10 jack collapses and the car crushes your dog you spend $500 with the Vet. Sometimes the DIY job can cost you more than the Dealer job Why would you waste a weekend. Just have it done and enjoy a Coffee knowing that your driveway is clean, your Dog is safe and the misses still loves you |
