Jason
Hi Jason...
Would you know what variables in the CIC module needs to be tweaked so that I can "see" ConnectedDrive on my BMW X5/E70 MY12, please? |

Jason - do you have a current link to the full package? None of the software I seem to dl work togeather. INSA, has various scripts missing for e89/90. NCSEXPERT only works for inidividial moduals etc. Would like to find a complete working package for the e9x ready to go if it exsists.

If your car is LCI, no need to change the date.
Here is my procedure: Added $609 and $6VA to FA and performed fa_write to CAS and NFRM. Then I have performed a sg_codierung to CIC (here is where the sound started to work). Last step was to perform a sg_codierung to KOMBI (here is where trip conputer started to work). For coding KOMBI, EDIABAS needs to be at 7.2 version (I have used v49 daten). I still need to figure how I can have the climate controls on screen... I will try to make an archive of my files. |

file, load profile, choose expert mode, F1 Then F3 , select chassis E89 for E90 , then cas to read FA , then when that's finished click back(F6) then click process ECU , Select cic , press ok , then you should see cic with sg_codierung underneath it.... then click execute job, it will say coding active, then coding ended close down ncs expert, you have just coded the cic for your vehicle order.... do the same for any module you want to code to your vehicles stock settings... |
