search... PLM downpipes, look on ebay or in the FS section. and theyre more like $275 i believe. Heard good things about fitment and quality.

The even cheaper ones are 2.5" and by raceland. $175 new. I have them fit fine and sound great, tons more power.

I'm gonna have to second this one, but only because it has been covered soooooo many times. As for dp's, I think the 3" only made like 7whp more than 2.5" dp's. I can't remember exactly, but Mr. 5 did a write up with some dyno's to show the very minimal gains.

Seriously. I won't travel down that road again. I got sucked into the low price, ended up doing the job twice since the DP's didn't fit. The replacement AR's fit better than stock, however.

Haha. I agree, no sense in saving $400-500 to risk buying an ill fitting part when its happened to many so far. Buy a quality piece and have no worries.

Don't get them, they are crap. If you want to throw crappy products on your car, be prepared to have educated people tell you otherwise... And it really isn't hard to search either...

I like how all you guys are screaming NO DONT GET them whilst sitting on your $700 downpipes...theres NUMEROUS people on the forums that have had the raceland and PLM fit without any problems, it comes down to how you install them and line them up and how much skill you have.

Also to answer the OPs question, downpipes have had the most significant gain out of dual cone intakes, Dinan Exhaust, and RPi intercooler. MUCH faster spool up times and low RPM response as well as more pull through the upper RPM range.

If you're looking for the cheapest way to get a full exhaust, either go with raceland's or PLM, then have a custom 3" exhaust made from the DP's back, or look into the Top Speed exhaust thats been sold on eBay as well, I've heard good things.

Well done.

it's a forum to ask questions.. not google. What's the point in having this if you can't get an answer to your direct problem and need to search through 40,000 pages of posts.
