Whenever there's someone coming in the opposite direction trying to make a left, I will let him. Whenever someone is trying to turn onto a main road I will stop for them.

Even if they don't know why I let them pass, it still gives me a good feeling. Maybe it will catch on... but probably not

It's not uncommon. Jeep Wrangler drivers wave at one another in passing and will tend to "favor" another Wrangler in traffic. Motorcyclists do so as well, although there can be some brand or style (cruiser vs sportbike) arrogance with emotionally immature riders. Seems to be part of the "community" of owning a those vehicles that you don't see among owners of dime-a-dozen vehicles.

I will flash my high beams to let you know to pass, then I will leave them on as you pass to let you know I hate your license plate
