Cobb Catted downpipe fit RHD vehicles

Hello all.

I own a 2011 N55 335i Msport DCT and have ordered a Wagner catted downpipe from the States but it is going to take another 1 or 2 months before it is in stock. As an alternative I can get a Cobb catted downpipe but they mentioned that they have not confirmed that it fits RHD vehicles.
Does anyone have a Cobb one fitted? And can confirm that it fits without any modifications/headaches?
If not what does everyone else use in Catted downpipes that fit RHD?
Before you say get a catless I am trying to keep it legal.

Thanks for any feedback.

At the end of the day a wagner or Cobb catted DP is illegal as its not oem...

I wouldn't buy the Cobb DP personally, there have been lots of reports with poor fitment issues with their CP etc...

What about an AR DP?

Catted downpipes are still illegal, will still throw engine codes and cost more money.

As mentioned above, catted dps seems pointless to me as:

1) they are still technically illegal as they affect your car's emission from factory spec, to be fully legal by the book you will need to go through the hops and get an engineer's certificate which I'm not even sure if you can without getting it retested for emissions.
2) still throw a CEL which need to be suppressed by a tune of somekind
3) still not green hippies friendly (not sure if that's a negative though...)

The only reason I can think of going for a catted dp rather than catless is if you want to keep the exhaust as quiet as possible to oem spec.

A mate of mine got slapped with a canary years ago in his wrx for aftermarket exhaust.

He put a stock exhaust back on thinking he would breeze the test, then went out to Penrith to the EPA testing station (he lives in newcastle which is over 2 hrs away) and failed...

He took his car to a workshop who stuffed the exhaust with some type of filler by memory retuned the car (it was running terrible) and passed the test a 2nd time and once cleared put his aftermarket exhaust back on.

This cost him a considerable amount of money as he had to buy a stock exhaust pay for 2 x EPA inspections plus the initial fine and retuning of the car and removal/refitment/removal/refitment of the exhaust and all the driving to sydney and back from newcastle.

Moral of the story, even stock exhausts fail emissions (the guys at the EPA station mentioned that its common for a lot of stock cars to fail - think VW albeit they'r enot the only cheaters they just got caught out). Install a set of kittyless DP's for maximum flow & don't be a d!ck and hang around the known cruise hot spots a la george st on a fri/sat night revving your car and you wont have any worries!
