I agree its not a lot of money for Kahn, i just think the whole private reg market is overinflated thats all. And even if i had the above figure in the bank, I still wouldn't buy a plate for £400k+

Why did you buy a 335d when a 320 is just as good surely,is the car market not over inflated somewhat it boils down to personal taste and choice, you would choose not to spend you cash on a P Plate - I like them, and they are a proven investment

In terms of 320 vs 335d? Well I dont think that question really needs answering, I would have got an M3 if it already had the M-DCT. But even with cars, there's a point beyond which i would never spend more money as you begin to pay increasingly for brand/prestige/exclusivity. Without a doubt even with a £40k car a percentage of its price is for the brand/image, but that percentage is disproptionately greater with more expensive cars. And that is the reason i would not cross about £70k for a car. I could comfortably buy any car (with cash) i want within £150k price tag immediately and if i i was 10x richer, i still would never spend more than about £70k on any single car. For instance, I would never buy a brand new Ferrari, ever. I agree that is about choice/taste, but the question of waste also comes into it. I suppose my socialist credentials are just shining through. |

i saw this on the news actually, it was a dealer who bought it. He buys and sells exclusive plates. Not too sure who would part with that kinda money for one though ?!
