WARNING Snow Performance H2O injection

So I took apart my water meth kit to install a new nozzle and something caught my eye.
It looked like rust on the nozzle I removed. When I took the nozzle apart, this is what I found. Again this is a kit used daily. I am glad I didn't have a catastrophic failure.

I found similar looking rust and other crap in my Silverdo's meth kit, which was a Devil's Own pump and nozzles. Luckily the little screens built into the nozzles stopped it from clogging the nozzle. Some of the debris was white/creme colored like it was minerals from the water. But I was using distilled water. Never figured it out...

Most of the popular meth kits don't use high quality parts. But you can get water/meth mixes with rust inhibitors already in them. Banks sells a product that is called Power Blend, it is 49% methanol and has corrosion inhibitors in it.

Mine is past the screen. It is the plunger inside the nozzle, so there's nothing to stop it from clogging the nozzle hole.

Distilled water can still have contaminants. The amount varies depending on brands. It's common to test them for other uses so trying googling the brand you use to see how it tests.

Are you guys using distilled water?

I recommend inspection of all methanol components every quarter. Methanol injection kits require pro-active maintenance and attention, always.

I don't think distilled water can prevent rust. Also I am running almost 90% meth, water content is minimal. I ran a CM10 nozzle for years with no signs of wear. The snow performance one has less than 12 months on it.

I just experience the same rust from my snow performance adapter and nozzle. I am running two nozzles and the other was a devils own nozzle with a coolingmist 90 degree nozzle adapter. The snow fitting and nozzle was rusted all inside and was no longer reusable but the devils own nozzle and coolingmist adapter was pretty clean with no rust at all. I think it's the design of the snow performance nozzles and the adapter fitting which can cause rust build up. I have changed over to devils own nozzle and coolingmist adapter now. I am done with snow performance and to be honest I really didn't like the design to begin with in terms of the nozzle adapters. They sit so damn high compared to other brands which are nice and flush. Their nozzles can only work with snow adapter fittings which SUCKS. All other brands the nozzles can work with any adapter fitting.

No one is questioning their CS. It's their nozzle design with nozzle adapter. Two different nozzles with adapters both installed the same time one has rust all over the other one which is not snow had barely any traces of it

Again call CS, if its rusting has to do with the materiel use to make the nozzle/design. Maybe they can send you a new different nozzle or clarify what might be the problem

In this case, distilled isn't the problem. Rust is a defect/flaw of material.

So either these materials Snow uses have a specific shelf life before they need replacement or it's inferior design/flaw of materials altogether.

I'm starting to weigh on the side of poor materials. My devils own nor CM nozzles had this issue either after years.

Unfortunately, when some companies get big like Snow, they lose the quality control and start cutting corners, that's what I'm seeing here. The private smaller companies take pride in what they use (for the most part).

Jeff. I use 90/10 meth to water mix so it's definitely not distilled water isolated. Both nozzles were installed the same time with same meth mixture. Not happy with it at all with the Snow nozzles and adapter at all.

Lol. So basically told you to take a walk! Mine would have needed sand paper to clean it and the nozzle adapter it would be almost impossible to get all the way up the neck of the adapter since it's so damn long. Found a nice place for it in the trash
