Paddle differences

Hi,

Bar the obvious,
What is the diference between the later + - paddles and the older thumb & finger ones on 335d?
Is it just the paddles themselves or was there a change in the 'box too?

Garage List
Just the paddles and wiring for them.... Nothing to do with the gearbox itself.

as above but the paddles are wired differently if you are thinking of fitting the lci paddles to a pre lci car there is a fair bit of work/expense to make them work on the other hand m3 paddles will work on the pre lci car with little and simple alterations but they wont work on the lci car

LCi cars up to 2010(??) were fitted with the thumb/ringer paddles.
Later 2011-on cars had the brushed alloy & black blade paddles.

The blade paddles have resistors inside the switch and are only 2-wire.
Earlier ones (& M3 I believe) were 3 wire
