Will it fit

My friend got a new car and will no longer need his Britalman exhaust for his E92. He will give it to me for free but I own an E90 is it possible for it to work. It s full exaust all the way back to the headers.

i'm pretty sure it will fit however, the E92 exhaust systems are longer than the E90 so you may need to adjust the exhaust tips.

just take it and ask a shop to install it, see if they can make it fit. if not, sell it.

E92 exhausts are slightly longer. Get shorter tips or have a couple inches removed. You're also talking about downpipes I'm assuming.

Yes and no. If its larger by a longshot, no. If its close, some small shops will beat around the bush until they start doing anything that requires extensive custom work, and its a waste of your time. Better if someone chimes in, or if taken to a dedicated exhaust shop.

On second thought, why not cut it short and mount it past the downpipes?

P.S. the title is misleading
