is there a reasonably priced BBK or caliper covers?

I am looking to put on some new wheels.
One thing holding me back is how bad the OEM calipers look.

I don't want to go for a full bore BBK which is going to cost $3k, but perhaps keeping the stock rotors and adding some reasonable new calipers.

I don't want to really go for fake caliper covers, but perhaps there are some reasonable looking covers out there? Not ones that make the calipers look like they are 4 or 6 spot, but rather ones that make the calipers look more like Mercedes Benz OEM stock ones that look far better.

Any ideas?

135i brakes!

I'm totally with you on the crap design of BMW calipers. Finally it seems like they're paying some more attention to it by providing things like BMW Performance brakes and M Performance brakes few new models. Personally I went with a set of 135i brakes that I found on the cheap because they ticked all the boxes for my requirements. Just painted them yellow and I was totally happy

but they are smaller than the stock 335 brakes? I wouldn't want to down grade.

it's for the 335.
these look like a reasonable option.
Better calipers and an option to keep the existing rotors.

I would go with slotted/drilled rotors for better cooling and better pads, rather than changing calipers and keeping stock pads/rotors.

A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link and for a 335i's braking system in order it would be:

- brake fluid
- pads
- lines
- rotors
- caliper

To give you some ideas:

I agree, but it's more for looks, as the stock brakes are quite capable, especially if you change fluid, lines and pads.
