2012 E93 I drive issues

Recently purchased my E93 in December and the other day my 5 years old son decided that he would touch the I drive screen all over

This has damaged the "Anti Glare" coating and now I'm left with a screen that looks like absolute SH*T

Anyway rant over I've done some research and wanted to contribute some good news as I've read a few threads on here saying they have similar scratch / damaged screen problems

Rang the dealers and as usual they tried flogging me a brand new unit which is absolute rubbish until I spoke to the manager who said he can order a new LCD screen for £90 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soon as I get my invoice I will post the part number on here or you can PM and ill inbox it to you and its for the (business Nav)

I've just been out in my car, and the screen has a plastic cover shaped under the hump in the dash.... I can't physically touch the screen itself?

Sounds like you have the CCC navigation system. The updated CIC navigation does not have this, allowing you to touch the screen...

Weird as mine has CIC Nav with hard drive as mine is an LCI 2009 car. Another little change over the years then!

What idiots, not protecting the screen.
Very poor.
