squaring a e90

I have a 2008 335i sedan that came with a sports suspension. it pushed really badly and I just had a Dinan stage 3 suspension installed. Now it would seem that squaring the tire size would be the final piece necessary to over come the 3600 lb problem.

I am thinking of going to 255 40 17's all around. anyone done this? Or has anyone gotten a set of the rear rims and run the 255 35 18's on the front?

Any suggestions?
