Consider the cost and the ability to convert back to stock at lease end. Yes I know that the Procede is a better product overall.

That's going to depend on the price and the power increase. I see it giving 30-40 crank hp (25-30 whp) at best! And that might be optimistic. The price might only be $500, but could run $1000 too. They surely won't give it anymore as it would get "too close" to the upcoming M3. Keeping the warranty fully intact and not having to hide anything surely is a nice touch, but getting twice or more the power with the PROcede and spending at most 30 minutes to remove it and 30 to put back in when dealership service is necessary (rare as long as you get the upgraded fuel pump ) is not much of a drawback. I like the Turbo Tuner (it's good bang for the buck), but the BMW software is probably going to be within 10-15 hp of the Turbo Tuner, at similiar cost. So that's going to be the product that takes the bigger hit from the BMW software. Also keep in mind, more than likely the BMW software is a reflash. There is no "selling" it if you are leasing, so you don't get your $500-1000 back. With the PROcede, you take the thing out, turn the car back in, then sell the PROcede for $900-1000 and you got all that extra power for a net cost of only $300-400. |

Yes, I am really tempted. I was thinking that I could use the profit that I will make when the sale of my s4 is finalized. I have aqn agreement of sale, just waiting for the state of Pa tp transfer the ownership from AFS to me so I can then tranasfer to the buyer.(4 weeks)

Get The Procede, You Can Take It Out And Sell It After Your Done With The Car. Shiv Also Offers Free Upgrades, This Way If Any New Tech Comes Out, You Wont Have To Pay For It.

coming from someone who has owned them both AND is leasing; the PROcede is a no-brainer. As I've said in other posts; even though the PROcede is considerably more $$, the dramatic change in the feel of the car makes it the winner hands down. Even if the TT and the PROcede generated the same whp/wtq (which they certainly don't), the PROcede would STILL be more than worth it...

I'm still not a fan of the TurboTuner, I don't like how there is no map, it just ups boost and lets the ECU take care of the rest. I vote for the procede, hands down.

why spend so much money for something you don't even own?
do you buy custom fit furniture for your apartment that wouldn't be good in any other living space? if you can't swing the payments, don't waste the cash on mods |

The best part about leasing is that the payments are tax deductible (a % of, depending on how smart your accountant is). Plus your monthly payments are lower. My negative point of view when it comes to financing a car is that your monthly payments are higher, and i don't see it as building equity in the car. Unless you are firm believer in investing in one of the fastest depreciating assets known to man - the automobile (unless its a collectors item of course). So really, it boils down to, once again, "value perception"

it's exactly like buying some custom couch to fit some jacked up space in your apartment which you don't own. since it's custom it doesn't adapt to other spaces. are you telling me you can use your turbo junk on some other car? I drive too many miles to lease, there are many people in life and on this board who lease because they couldn't afford the car otherwise, maybe not you personally but people who lease because it's actually beneficial to them are in the distinct minority. |

Myself and majority of my friends lease because it's an easy tax write off for our business. And that I change cars every few years anyways...
I don't see any reason why you shouldn't mod your 335 with a procede or turbo tuner. ~$433 per year for extra goodness? Hell yah.... |
